Learn how to start a food business, eat healthy, get access to good food and where to get fresh food. See local fresh food vendors, food and wellness experts and a cooking demonstration. Admission is free - donations of canned goods or nonperishable foods are appreciated.
Keynote Speaker Malik Kenyatta Yakini is a founder and Executive Director of the Detroit Black Community Food Security Network. He views the “good food revolution” as part of the larger movement for freedom, justice and equality. He has an intense interest in contributing to the development of an international food sovereignty movement that embraces Blacks farmers in the Americas, the Caribbean and Africa.
