West Michigan Regional Kitchen Incubator Open House

March 30, 2006: The Starting Block, West Michigan's Regional Kitchen Incubator, is open for business!

The Open House was held on Friday, May 19th from 10 AM to 2 PM at The Starting Block. The new West Michigan Regional Kitchen Incubator offers a licensed kitchen, office services, and entrepreneurial education for new and expanding businesses in food, farming and natural resources systems.  The Starting Block, which originated with a feasibility study done by Michigan Food and Farming Systems - MIFFS, is designed to help "incubate" new projects and ideas. 

The MIFFS Council toured the facilities, and more than 70 other visitors came to check it out and learn more about the kitchen incubator project.
