Pastured Poultry

Pastured poultry producers and their customers should benefit from Clearing a Path for On-Farm Processing of Pastured Poultry in Michigan — a Michigan Food & Farming Systems (MIFFS) initiative. Objectives are to acquaint producers with safe, legal, and profitable methods for raising, processing, and marketing pastured poultry and to encourage supportive interpretations of applicable regulations. Educational programs have been sponsored throughout the state and a plain-language informative handbook is now available in print or online.

For a PDF version of the booklet, click here. Please contact the MIFFS office for a printed version.
