Michigan Food & Farming Systems (MIFFS)

MIFFS Mission is to: Connect beginning and historically underserved farmers to each other and resource opportunities; ensuring social justice, environmental stewardship, and profitability.

MIFFS is a State-Wide, Non-Profit Organization Dedicated to Serving Beginning and Underserved Farmers

For more than 30 years, MIFFS has been a catalyst for connecting farmers to resources and opportunities. Since our inception in 1998, MIFFS has developed countless educational programs, opportunities, certifications and hosts an ever popular annual conference — connecting farmers with the tools and resources they need for growth and success. In addition, MIFFS also has two regional Farm Development Centers that offer hands-on agricultural experiences and learning opportunities for new and emerging growers throughout the year.

We invite you to join us in expanding our reach with emerging farmers, growing our network of knowledge and community, and assuring we have a healthy future in our State's sustainable food and farming systems for decades to come.
