A lot has happened in the world since the 17th Annual Michigan Family Farms Conference and many of you have asked about plans for the 2021 Michigan Family Farms Conference. The conference planning team looked to the conference community for insight and to determine the best path to take in this unprecedented time. We have decided to take this year as an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and make necessary changes to better meet the needs of the community of beginning and underserved producers.  

During this time of reflection, the Michigan Family Farms Conference planning team will be hosting informal listening sessions with growers, conference attendees, resource providers, and other partners. The intent of these sessions is to figure out what is working and what can be improved. The session feedback will guide the planning team towards creating a more diverse, inclusive, and equity-focused conference with more community representation guiding the way.
